The West End House
Since its inception in 2002, the Vantage Foundation has raised approximately $7 million to benefit the
West End House Boys and Girls Club of Allston/Brighton, Massachusetts. The West End House has provided uninterrupted support, hope, and opportunity to young people in the Boston area since 1906, and is an award-winning social and recreational facility that helps thousands of youth each year with programs ranging from sports leagues, swimming lessons, tutoring, arts and crafts, climbing, and more. Additionally, Vantage supports the West End House by donated thousands of turkeys as part of the non-profit’s annual holiday turkey donation drive.
Vantage greatly appreciates any contributions to the West End House from our travelers and extended family. Donations can be made online

The West End House Camp
As a proud sponsor of West End House Boys and Girls Club, Vantage is asking your help in supporting the
West End House Camp and William Margolin Fund of Excellence. Providing unparalleled services and programs to thousands of boys — who are accepted regardless of race, creed, color or family financial hardship — this Maine-based camp is able to offer more than $200,000 in camperships to deserving kids each summer.
Peru Huila Huila School
In celebration of Peru’s National Independence Day, 16 Vantage volunteers arrived at the Chinchero Community’s school just outside the Sacred Valley in Peru with paint and brushes in hand. This group of colleagues, which included our South America buyer and several Vantage Adventure Leaders, helped the school’s students repaint the building, filling it with color and spirit worthy of the children who attended class there. The volunteers also delivered company-donated clothes, equipment, and 12 laptops for school use. Identified as a Vantage Cares site in 2016, the Chinchero Community School will be involved in several proposed future initiatives as well. Travelers will visit this unique community when journeying with Vantage Adventures on
Amazon River Cruise: Peru’s Wildlife Wonders,
Legendary Machu Picchu & The Galapagos Islands, and
Wine and Cultures of South America: Chile, Argentina, Uruguay & Brazil.
Chinotimba Primary School
One of the most poignant ways to connect with locals is by visiting a school and witnessing both the exuberance of the children and the hard work of dedicated teachers. Travelers on many Vantage safaris will visit the Chinotimba Primary School to meet students and teachers for an inside look at local life, while seeing firsthand the impact Vantage Cares is making (with the help of our travelers). Travelers can also see the “Vantage Highway” — a stretch of concrete our philanthropic organization funded to make the school more accessible to wheelchair users and persons with disabilities.
Varanasi Music School
Vantage is also proud to support the musical city of Varanasi and its local music school with funds used for maintenance and the training of new students. While Varanasi’s musical roots can be traced back to ancient times, the city has more recently produced wunderkinds including the sitar master Ravi Shankar, among others. Travelers on India North & South: From the Golden Triangle to the Kerala Backwaters will visit this school and learn about Indian music, hear its most important classical instruments, and interact with both musicians and locals.
