A pair of carreiros — skilled and expert pilots — will guide you downhill for the steep mile-long descent downhill.
You’re in for a treat tonight when you head to ‘O Lagar’, a local restaurant specializing in espetada, a traditional Portuguese dish made from seasoned chunks of beef and vegetables arranged on skewers and cooked over hot coals.
