In travel, we know that the journey is just as important as the destination. That’s why the Ocean Explorer and the Ocean Odyssey have been deliberately designed to offer a 5-star experience. While you’ll enjoy numerous included features and Cultural Discoveries on shore, we’re also bringing the world closer to you.

The first thing you’ll notice when you step aboard is the ship’s Scandinavian design, elegantly framing the generous floor to ceiling windows throughout. Step onto the sun deck to bask in 360° views while soaking in one of two hot tubs, or clink glasses with your fellow travelers while watching the sunset from one of our bars and lounges.

Gourmet excellence

Savor gourmet fare inspired by your destinations and crafted by our expert chefs at any of our dining venues on board. Drinks are also included at dinner, so you can request a wine or beer to pair with your meal. Want to celebrate a special occasion during your trip? Let us know and we’ll help you make plans in our private dining area.

Want to spice things up or add your own personal touch to a dish? Make an experience out of dinner with our special restaurant featuring hot rock cooking. We’ve updated one of the world’s oldest cooking styles by giving you the opportunity to cook your own meal at your own table, just how you like it!

Want to indulge, be inspired, or have fun? Whatever your mood, you’ll find something to satisfy your mind and soul.

Included in your journey is the Vantage Lecture & Discussion Series. These shipboard lectures provide historical and cultural enrichment specific to the regions you’ll visit and are conducted by our handpicked Resident Lecturers or Expedition Team members. Through them, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of world history, marine biology, and other in-depth subjects that contextualize and enhance your onshore explorations.

In the evenings, enjoy a custom repertoire of music, dance, and entertainment by renowned local performers. We’ve invited them on board to showcase the passion, creativity, and spirituality of the cultures you’ll connect with during your journey. You’ll also have the option to read a book in the library or enjoy the latest in movie selections in the comfort of our own cabin with our interactive TV system.

Aboard our 5-star fleet, you’ll find hot tubs and a fitness center where you can work out with a view, as well as a complete spa where you can pamper yourself with a facial treatment or a relaxing massage.
