When Vantage's Regional General Manager of southern Africa Pieter Enright tells travelers to beware of the Africa Travel Bug, he's not referring to the tsetse fly. "Once bitten," he jokes, "everyone falls in love with this part of the world. Many of them return year after year!"

Pieter can't blame them. After 12 years in the travel industry, it's where he chooses to live, and he and his wife are delighted to raise their young daughter Natasha in Cape Town, South Africa. He loves showing travelers the diversity of this vast region: the best game viewing safaris in the world, breathtaking landscapes, world-class vineyards, a rich and fascinating heritage, and the cosmopolitan flair of his home city.

Pieter is proud that the people of southern Africa have worked to make South Africa, Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia among the best destinations in the world.
